Guía para principiantes de Gakuran

¿Empiezas Gakuran por primera vez? Sigue este camino y evitarás los errores típicos: rerolls desperdiciados, estilos débiles y parrys fallados.

Welcome to Gakuran (学乱), the Roblox anime fighting RPG set in a 2007 Japanese school town. This beginner guide walks you through the exact order of steps that will save your rerolls, get you a top fighting style, and have you winning schoolyard PvP fast.

If you only remember one thing: reroll Fight Style first, learn to parry, and never spend a reroll on cosmetics before you have a strong style.

Step 1 — Redeem codes for free rerolls

Before you fight anyone, stock up on rerolls for free. Codes in Gakuran give you rerolls you'd otherwise have to grind or pay for, and they're the single fastest way to get a strong fighting style early.

  1. Open the full codes list and copy each active code.
  2. In-game, tap the drawer icon on the left of the screen.
  3. Go to the Codes tab, paste a code, and confirm.

Codes rotate with every update and shut-down, so check the codes page again after each patch.

Step 2 — Reroll a strong fighting style

Your fighting style is the single biggest factor in how strong you are. It's also the only rerollable stat that actually affects combat — see the best stats guide for the full breakdown.

  • Open the menu → StatsNextFight StyleReroll.
  • Aim for an S-tier style first: Boxing (uninterruptible heavy M2) or Wrestling (grab + guardbreak pressure).
  • Capoeira and Karate (A-tier) are solid fallbacks if you're low on rerolls.

Check the full ranking on the tier list before you spend.

Don't reroll cosmetics yet. First name, height, hair and the other 13 cosmetic stats can wait — burning rerolls on them before locking a strong Fight Style is the #1 beginner mistake.

Step 3 — Learn the controls and combat loop

Gakuran's combat is about timing, not button-mashing. Get the controls down cold:

  • Hold Shift to run.
  • T to enter your fighting stance.
  • Left mouse for light attacks (combo).
  • Right mouse (M2) for your heavy attack.
  • Parry to negate incoming light attacks.
  • Guardbreak to crack open a blocking opponent.

The core loop is: pressure with lights → parry their counter → if they block, guardbreak → punish with a heavy (M2). Read the full how to fight breakdown for the timing.

Step 4 — Win your first schoolyard fights

Once you have an S-tier style and the parry timing, queue for PvP. The fastest path to your first wins:

  • Open with light attacks to feel out your opponent.
  • Block-bait: let them swing, parry, then punish.
  • Save your M2 for after a guardbreak — it's your highest damage.
  • Boxing's M2 can't be interrupted, so use it to bully aggressive players.

For deeper strategy, move on to the PvP guide.

Step 5 — Join the community and stay updated

New codes, balance changes, and new fighting styles drop in the official Discord. Joining it is how you catch fresh codes before they expire and learn the current meta.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Spending rerolls on cosmetics first — always lock an S/A-tier Fight Style first.
  • Ignoring parry — a strong style still loses if you can't parry.
  • Hoarding codes — codes expire; redeem them as soon as you see them.
  • Skipping the controls — going into PvP without knowing guardbreak gets you opened up instantly.
