How to Reroll in Gakuran

Rerolling is the core progression loop in Gakuran — it's how you change your fighting style and cosmetic stats. Here's the exact flow and how to spend your rerolls without wasting them.

Rerolling is the heart of progression in Gakuran. It's how you swap your fighting style and your character's cosmetic stats — and because fighting style decides most of your combat power, spending rerolls wisely is what separates a strong account from a stuck one.

This guide covers the exact reroll flow, what you can reroll, and how to avoid the common waste.

What can you reroll?

Gakuran has 14 rerollable stats, but only one of them matters for combat:

| Priority | Stat | Effect | | --- | --- | --- | | ⚡ Combat | Fight Style | Changes your passives, attack feel and heavy (M2) — the only stat that affects fighting | | Cosmetic | First/last name, gender, height, ethnicity, hair, hair colour, face, 5 accessories | Appearance only |

See the full table and priority order in the best stats guide.

How to reroll — step by step

The reroll menu is a little hidden. Here's the exact path:

  1. Press Esc to open the main menu.
  2. Go to the Stats tab.
  3. Press Next to advance to the Fight Style panel.
  4. Select Fight Style and press Reroll.
  5. Repeat until you land on a style you want to keep.

For cosmetics, the same Reroll button sits next to each cosmetic stat in the Stats panel.

Where to get rerolls

Rerolls are expensive to buy in-game, so the smart move is to farm them for free:

  • Codes — the biggest source. See the codes list and the how to get rerolls guide.
  • Discord drops & milestones — the official Discord posts new codes with updates and shut-down compensation.
  • In-game events — limited-time events sometimes grant reroll bundles.

Reroll strategy: Fight Style first

This is the rule that saves new players the most pain:

  1. Dump every reroll into Fight Style until you land an S-tier style (Boxing or Wrestling), or at minimum an A-tier (Capoeira, Karate).
  2. Lock that style and stop rerolling combat.
  3. Only then spend rerolls on cosmetics for fun.

Why? A cosmetic reroll is permanent visual flair; a Fight Style reroll toward S-tier is a permanent power spike. Check the tier list so you know which styles to stop on.

Tips to avoid wasting rerolls

  • Don't reroll Fight Style once you have an S-tier unless you're chasing a specific style for your playstyle.
  • Redeem codes before rerolling — you'll often get 30–50 rerolls for free, which is usually enough to hit an S/A-tier style.
  • Reroll in batches — do all your Fight Style rerolls at once after a code drop, not one at a time over days.

Frequently asked

Can I pick a specific fighting style? No — rerolling is random. You can only increase your odds by rerolling more times, which is why free codes matter.

Do cosmetic stats affect gameplay? No. Only Fight Style affects combat. Everything else is visual.

What's the rarest tier? Legendary styles have a low drop chance per reroll (community-reported; treat exact % as 待确认 for the current version). Stack rerolls to push for them.
